There are only about 40 testnet wallets and a number of them don’t even seem legit…have you seen them? It’s like they were just fooling around on testnet.

Pools on testnet have been coming and going all the time. They’re either playing or like us, testing before mainnet.
Most of the pools on mainnet are people who participated in the ITN and were truly ready to mainnet at Shelley launch. We’re a bit late, but it’s no dramas, the saturation protocol and decentralisation parameter are there to even things out.
I have installed grafana on a local machine to monitor my pool.

lol…meanwhile mine are two laptops in my home. 
and a relay on the cloud that I can’t connect to from home…AWS instances are hard to network with…ssh to AWS instance is very easy, but using it as a relay for a home BP ,not easy!

Going forward I am aiming for relays scattered everywhere and BP close to home. We’ll see. It’s worth having a yarn with @Eystein_Hansen regarding merits of global relays/cloud computing/hybrid models.

I think most people agree that 2 relays is bare minimum for redundancy.
Ah, you’ll find a short stint about grafana in the pool course. I like it, some people seem not to, not sure if they have security concerns with it.

I have a website for the stake pool…I got to work on that…doesn’t even have https yet…other than that, I have to fix ticker problem, finish pool course, and start focusing on what kind of mainnet set up I’ll do and how to market my pool as a business and what aspect of cryptospace to focus stakepool one.
Not sure yet. I’m thinking this way: we’re pretty isolated down this part of the world. If I end up on mainnet with a BP in Oz and a relay in Oz, in the offchance that my pool mints a block, it’ll take longer to go around the network.
I think one in Europe, one in North America and one in SE Asia would be a good start.
I would go for Japan…they love ADA over there, the people as well as the government (cryptos in general).
