Hi, hope someone can help me here…
I’m trying to restore my Yoroi wallet to a new laptop. I’ve input my seed phase but it would seem I’ve got one word wrong. If I guess at the word and it allows me to move to the next step and shows me a plate number that matches my existing wallet on my iPhone - have I guessed correctly? Can I continue to set up my wallet on a new device? Not sure how I’ve got one word wrong out of the 15 but need to install wallet on new device to take part in midnight airdrop.

If its not, its wrong.

Yes, if it lets you go to the next step you have guessed correctly.

My list of words has 1 wrong work - I have dual (which isn’t on the list) I have guessed at a replacement and seem to have guessed right as the plate number of my wallet is shown on the next screen - I’m assuming I’d the two plate numbers match then I’ve guessed right and can continue to set up my wallet on a new device?
You can always just try to import the wallet on the new device. Actually thought you were already doing this on it.

Thanks to all who responded - my guess was correct - I had the word dual saved and guessed at dune & it’s worked & have now registered for midnight airdrop.
