What kind of event are you talking? Some kind of giveaway or “send x and you get doubled back”?
There are no giveaways or airdrops, those are all scams.

There are different services but to be fair i never used one myself so i cant really give you a honest opinion about them. But maybe its worth to try it.

I would report it to the police. Provide a screenshot of the scam with the address. All transactions from this address can be tracked, and in theory the exchanges can block this, or report it back to the police, who then can find the scammers. That’s why serious exchanges have the KYC protocol, to be sure of the identity of their customers. Unfortunately there are still exchanges without such identity checks. But then it is still possible to follow the money for law enforcement.
