Ledger-Cardano coins no longer showing

Cardano Development Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out for assistance regarding an issue I’ve encountered with my ADA stored in my Ledger Live wallet. I am unable to see my ADA balance directly within the Ledger Live interface. However, I can view the transactions associated with my wallet. When I click on these transactions, I am directed to Cardano Scan, where I can confirm that my ADA is not currently delegated to any pool. Given this situation, I would appreciate guidance on how to retrieve my ADA for redelegation to a staking pool. Specifically, I would like to understand the following: 1. Are there steps I need to follow to ensure my ADA is visible in Ledger Live? 2. How can I reallocate the ADA that appears unallocated or non-delegated back into my wallet for redelegation? 3. Is there a potential issue with the Ledger integration that I should be aware of? Thank you for your time and support. I look forward to your guidance on resolving this issue. Best regards,

I would really recommand to use a Cardano wallet like Typhon or Eternl and connect your Ledger with it.

Do you see any outgoing transactions in Ledger Live which you didnt submit?

Usually not. You should see your balance in Ledger Live exactly like on Cardanoscan, on any other blockchain explorer or in any other wallet app. They all access the same information – the state of the blockchain.

But every single one of them – Ledger Live or any other wallet app – might temporarily have synchronisation problems. As @Zyroxa said, you can use any other wallet app that supports Ledger (most do, Eternl, Typhon, Lace, …) to control exactly the same wallet.

Staking in Cardano does not move your ADA anywhere. You are just recording the information that your whole wallet shall be delegated to a specific pool on the blockchain. This only costs 2 ADA registration deposit (the very first time you delegate) and a small transaction fee. All other ADA always stay in your wallet, are shown as your balance, you can spend them or add more – what is staked for the next epoch is always automatically your current balance.

So, there simply do not exist concepts like “allocating” or “reallocating”. ADA are either in your wallet or not. And your whole wallet is either delegated or not.

No, nothing in particular.
