I’ve been following the Cardano ecosystem for a while and after two summits I finally decided to get my toes wet and look into building something on/for Cardano.
Please forgive my naiveness; I understand one of the core ideas behind the fund is to grow the ecosystem so my first question is: can you apply for funding if you are simply building a product on top of Cardano? For instance, if you wanted to build a game and not bring direct value to other developers.
Next, do you think building boilerplate projects for dapps could be something that deserves funding? I’m thinking of building starter repositories with Vue JS / Nuxt and Mesh JS for instance, that people could use to kickstart their project and have wallet authentication built in.
Yes. You can propose more or less anything and the community will have the final vote if they like your idea or not.
Keep in mind that there are all sort of peoples in this ecosystem. Not all of them are developers or have expierences in these areas, so it makes sense to explain your proposal in a way, that everyone, even without an IT-background, understands what you are trying to achieve.
