Hi, I have setup a new pool.
Recently I have changed the metadata location from HTTP to HTTPS.
Since that change www.pool.vet is throwing an error:
FAIL: Error reading metadata: request to https://cardanify.com/poolMetaData.json failed, reason: unable to verify the first certificate
If I navigate to it directly, the file works just fine.
How can I fix this?
Should I move it back to HTTP???
did u registered a new pool certificate with the new link?
Yes I did. Is there an easy way to validate the hash for this file?
Now I’m not sure if there’s something wrong with the SSL, or with the metadata file
Can be an error from pool.vet
I see on adapools.org the ticker is visible
Also u can check on adapools if the metada are valid…log in, click manage and go to meta
Meta files
Basic meta is valid.
Extended meta is valid.
So, it’s OK???
Can I ignore pool.vet?
yes, it’s fine you can ignore pool.vet… sometimes it has bugs/delays
if the pool is visible on pooltool.io used by daedalus and adapools.org used by yoroi then it’s fine
