Hi all, new SPO here. I thought I’d completed the process without any issues. Ive paid the registration fee, can see my pool on adapools.org but it’s been about 4 hours and I can’t see it within Daedalus or Yoroi.
I noticed that I had some extra spaces in the json file which may have caused issues so I updated that (and also made a change to the description), generated a new hash, uploaded to my website etc, then submitted the transaction again minus the registration fee. Now I can see the updated file via the new hash on smash, and there are no errors showing, but my ticker still isn’t showing in the wallets. I’ve also noticed that the description change I made in this new metadata hasn’t updated on adapools yet.

If anyone has any insight that would be great as I’ve spent about 4 hours going over everything about 20 times

Hello,
Can u share the metadata url?
Cheers,
Hi Alex,
it’s https://wenmoonpool.com/wenpool.json
I just wget it to my node to double checked the hash and it matches the hash in the certificate.

Hello,
Ur metadata file is fine, can see ur pool on adapools or pooltool;
Perhaps daedalus needs more time, but on yoroi u can’t see ur pool because ur relay is down on adapools.org
This can happens if the port 3001 from the relay is not open to accept connections from outside
Please check and open the port in FW if it’s closed
Cheers,

@Alexd1985 Thank you Turns out there were 2 issues:
- I hadn’t run topologyupdater.sh the required number of times
- Incoming port 3001 wasn’t open on my relay mode
