My partner began transferring there ADA and after several days it kept disconnecting. I then checked their computer and it does not meet the minimum requirements to run the software.
So now the ADA coin is in some sort of limbo. How do I fix this?
Not sure what DNA is but perhaps just use a web wallet like Yoroi? These are designed to be light weight and significantly easier on system requirements than running a full relay node.
Note that ADA like all tokens exists only on the blockchain. You can look up the wallet address on a explorer such as cardanoscan.io for example to see the balance. Restoring the wallet will allow you to access funds. You do not have to use Daedalus. I actually use Adalite.io mostly.
