Hey Ricky,
Instead of auto updates I think a simple text file saying "How to update your wallet ? "
Give control back to the user.
1 Download the new version of Daedalus wallet for your op system
2 Run installer as admin
3 when finished run the the new Launcer icon as admin.
Update was flawless; ten-days in continues to work well. Windows 10, FWIW.
Spot-on team; stay focused on quality across the entire Cardano suite of offerings, test and retest, and then test again. And coders should be banned from the testing roomâŚ
Remember, when the whales come knocking it will be the ability to successfully handle huge numbers logging on simultaneously and concurrently executing functions that separates the wannabeâs from the masters.
Thats because most people can say yes to the first and 3rd options ( never had a problem and yes it works after the update ). The question can be interpreted differently. I am assuming the first selection means you did have a problem but no longer do. It should be just a yes or no survey. It should be more clear than it is. Some people may have had a wallet that worked up until the update. You should scrap it and re-word it.
I selected yes but never had a problem.
Thanks fpr repying Rick,
I am glad it is the new ver of Daedalus is working and really want to use it for all my coins eventually, or at least most of them at some point in the future.
I hate my Nano S and Trezor
I did have trouble sending the log files but after a reboot and reinstall , everything worked brilliantly.
I am not sure the âreport problemâ and uploading log files works too well on slow connections.

You need to watch it carefully so you know whether it is actually stuck or just moving very slowly. It is normal for it to take hours, sometimes many hours. If it actually sticks or goes backwards, close it and try again, say 2-3 times if necessary, restarting the computer as well. If it still sticks after that checkout the FAQ and/or start a new topic with a careful description of the problem.
as of I am writing you this reply, It has decided to connect and this is pretty unbelievable for me. The last change I remember to do is to ârun as administratorâ and thereafter even starting it normally works good enough.
