First meetup was a huge success: more than 120 attendees! Everyone very eager to learn more about Cardano’s Blockchain. I spoke about Charles Hoskinson and his history, IOHK, Cardano Foundation and Emurgo.

We talked about the problems Cardano aims to solve: Scalability, interoperability and sustainability. I also told them about how Ouroboros works and the difference with PoS and PoW.

We discussed about how Haskell works. This meeting lasted around 2 hours. It was a very enriching presentation for the attendees.

I want to thank you for all your support and to show Cardano Foudation that in Colombia and Latin America we have a large community interested in Cardano and a great support of the people who want to learn. Great things are yet to come!

Congratulations on a successful meetup.
I really want to start it here in my town as well, but I feel I do not have all the necessary knowledge required, like discussing how Haskell works
