Sending ADA Yoroi Issue

Hello guys,
have a strange problem with Yoroi, when I try to send an ADA it says “An Error has occurred, please try again later” after which the tab closes, I disconnected and reconnect the ledger once more, and since then even the inscriptions on my ledger are blurred, although I log in,I can see the amount there but it looks like there’s some issue,could you please help,Thank you!

This sounds indeed strange.

Try to connect your Ledger with a different interface like Typhon or Eternl and try to submit a transaction there.

Now the bigger problem is that my Screen on Ledger Device is really blurry and I am afraid to enter my Pass to the end since it might be locked if I enter to many false passwords…what should I do,to purchase new Ledger Device?Thank you dude!

I mean as long as you have the Ledger seedphrase, you have a backup and you should be safe (of course only if its the correct seedphrase).

So if the device is broken, you probably should get a new one yes and then restore the keys with your seedphrase.

I see,so even If I enter password wrong multiple times,it should work if I do have the Seedphrase?

Yes the password is only used locally. But if you have the seedphrase, you dont need the device password at all.

I see, so I may try from another wallet tomorrow during the day, up and down I can see the numbers on the screen but when it is sunny, it has already started to get dark for me, the problem is that I am quite afraid to enter the seedphrase in other online wallets, you recommended Eternl, I’m quite worried about being phished from someone.Thank you!

Sorry you might misunderstood, but the seedphrase from a Ledger device is not compatible with the Cardano wallets.

You would have to buy a new Ledger hardware device and enter the seedphrase there.

Yes you can connect your current Ledger with most Cardano wallets. But never enter your seedphrase anywhere else, than on your Ledger device.

I see sir,when I have purchased the new Ledger Device and receive it where should I enter the Seedphrase,I’ve remember that when I click on the yoroi website there’s an option to chose ledger and then I click that I have already existing profile and then I enter the Seedphrase and my funds were restored if I remember correctly

Im not sure if i understand it correctly but if you enter the seedphrase from your Ledger device in Yoroi, you wont be able to access your funds. So you might misremembering something here.

Yes in that case yes,since I see my Funds and I have made tranactions from there,so if I got the new one ,new Ledger where sould I enter that Seedphrase

If you really entered a seedphrase in Yoroi and you were able to perform transactions there, you most likely created a new wallet on Yoroi and your keys werent secured on your Ledger device.

ONLY on the Ledger device itself, NOT in the application.

Ah yess,I believe that was the case I have entered it there I belive,so when I purchase a new Ledger I will have that option to enter the Seedphrase and then to connect it

But in all of the Wallets there’s an option which say Restore Cardano Wallet,but that is when I already enter the Phrase in the initial access I believe,so it is still in the Ledger

Yes but that only works, if the seedphrase is compatible. Ledger is using a different derivation path than most of the Cardano wallets.

So if you create a seedphrase with Yoroi, you can use that seedphrase and restore your funds in any other Cardano wallet, but if you created a seedphrase with Ledger, this wont work. The ledger seedphrase works only on the Ledger device itself (atleast in the Cardano ecosystem).

I’m not sure anymore, it was a long time ago, tomorrow I think I’ll try again with a fresh head, the strange thing is that initially the ledger device worked, then I unpluged it pluged it back (but I did that multiple time before also) and since then the screen is blurry, I hope that a new device will solve the problem, at least as far as I see the funds are there for now, I hope everything is fine, thank you for your help, if there is anything I will write again :slight_smile:
