Trasnsfer ada from shelley trezor wallet to shelley standard wallet

Hi
I created a wallet @ Yori with my Trezor. (Shelley Trezor Wallet) and sent some ADA to it.
when I tried to enable Voting, got the message that voting is not supported.
So, I created a new wallet, a shelley standard wallet.
Now I want to transfer my ADA to this shelley standard wallet so I can Vote in the future.
How do I tranfer those ADA? I have to do a regular transfer Wallet Address to Wallet Adress ?

Hello,

Did u created a simple yoroi shelley wallet and bkp-ed the seed words right? Great!
Now connect your trezor to yoroi and just send ur ada from trezor to the new shelley address;

If u have doubts, first time try with a small amount!

Yes - currently you’d transfer it to hot wallet so that you can register your hot wallet. Once snapshot is taken and voting starts (Mar 5, 2021 19:00 UTC), you can send your funds back to your Trezor (again - same as regular transfer).

Hi Alex…thanks for your prompt help.
When on Yoroi on Chrome, Always that i open the wallet, I can see my Trezor wallet, even when it’s not connected. That is normal?..

Yes, but u can’t make transaction without ur trezor connected and PIN!

I can see it, but can only use it ONLY if I connect the Trezor

I followed the steps, and just confirmed the transaction from the Trezor screen
All good so far :slight_smile:

Yes but as @rdlrt said u will need to keep ur ada in ur simple wallet till 5 March when the snapshot will be performed;

Till then ur ada are not delegated anymore since u moved to another wallet

Hi Alex… You are saying that I can place all my ADA in my wallet until the 5Th of March so I get more power into my vote, and after getting that, I can move them to my Trezor wallet?

And, while waiting for that 5Th of March I can have the ADA staked at a pool?

YES, because the snapshot will be performed on 5 March (Mar 5, 2021 19:00 UTC) OR you can move the ADA from Trezor on 5 March before 19:00 UTC

And, while waiting for that 5Th of March I can have the ADA staked at a pool?
YES, it is a new wallet and it is not delegated, but u can do it!

yes is that correct! in order to win rewards you must delegate to a pool!
keep in mind that all pools will give you on long term (1 year for ex) - a return around 5-5.5% so you don’t need to delegate to big pools… but it’s ur decision anyway

I don’t know what to say… I invested only in Cardano, I watched this project since 2017… maybe also other projects are good, but u need to do a lot of research before to start to invest your money…
Could be good projects, could be scam projects…

Yes Alex…I’m trying to move ADA from EXMO and they don’t allow.
Have to convert it to BTC, than move it to Binance and rebuy ADA

aa cool man, why didn’t asked :stuck_out_tongue:

  • make a Byron wallet in Yoroi and try with that address (bkp seed words just in case till you will move to shelley wallet)…
  • after that move ADA from Byron to Shelley wallet. Simple no?

But try with few ADA like 2-3 first time!
