Trying to connect to Daedulus for days now

Since alonzo its been like this a lot but now I cant connect at all.

Is Yoroi app anything like this? If not I will have to give that a shot.

Can I have the same wallet on the two at same time?

Daedalus it’s using more than 8G after Alonzo update
U can import the daedalus wallet in yoroi till u will fix the daedalus

  • install yoroi browser extension (use only official sources)
  • open yoroi
  • add wallet (shelley era)
  • restore
  • write the daedalus 24 seed words
  • set a wallet name and spending password

So youre saying the chain is now an additional 8gb in size? I had no issues after updating last week. Took the usual few minutes to start up.
Will Yoroi wallet need to be same name to restore contents? I need to change pools before next epoch. Can I delegate my current stake on yoroi wallet?

Not size, it’s using more than 8G of RAM

Yes, just restore the wallet into yoroi and u will have all the options (spend ADA, delegate, withdraw rewards, etc)

PS: also u can try to uninstall/reinstall the daedalus and restore the wallet (but first check if u have the right seed words)

Exactly, but when u will restore into yoroi it will ask u for a wallet name and spending password;
U can keep same as daedalus

when i tried to restore shelley i was prompted to enter 15 words although i have 24 words
