Hello! How is it possible that when I use a wallet when exchanging an asset (AGIX), a certain number of tokens were sent, some part was exchanged and the rest was returned to another address of my wallet, but later it turned out that this was the address from the address book and as if it did not belong to me but has to do with my call (what does this mean?) As a result, I cannot transfer these sent back tokens anywhere? What to do in such a situation?
Hello @Hamann50
With Yoroi you always resync your wallet first and see if that resolves the issue.
If not
Try sending all AGIX tokens to yourself.
Just go to send. Input your own address for Yoroi. Click next.
Select “+Add Token.” Click on the token you want to send.
Once you select the token you will see in the bottom right a gray number telling you total of all those tokens. Like this
Just enter that exact number and click confirm.
Add 2 to 3 ADA in ADA field.
Then send.
Hope this works.
Thank you! But I did everything you listed, but for some reason not the entire amount of AGIX is transferred and after transferring everything through Yoroi in the browser block I have 2 addresses, the 1st is the general one where all my assets are and the 2nd is exactly where they were after the exchange returned to AGIX and are still lying there just a little bit ADA
and that delivery to AGIX. And I don’t know why. I even wrote to Yoroi in support, but there’s no answer yet!
Yoroi is a type of wallet that has many addresses. This is not unusual.
If you go to RECEIVE tab you can see all the addresses your wallet keeps for you.
If it’s on any of these addresses, then it’s in your wallet.
Internal addresses are the ones that you receive as change back during transaction. If your tokens are on here it’s fine.
My Yoroi has well over 100 addresses. That’s normal.
Wallet apps always have a way to manage assets and sometimes they will split the assets in order to make transactions small and cheaper.
As long as you are able to move your assests you are fine.
Yes, I see this, but let’s say there are 100 AGIX in my wallet, I click transfer everything, but it says not enough balance and I can send, for example, 80 AGIX just minus those 20 AGIX that it shows in the 2nd wallet. I can’t wrap my head around how this can happen?
The wallet wouldn’t tell you not enough balance for AGIX. If you enter more AGIX then you have in a wallet you won’t be able to select CONFIRM, so you couldn’t even make a transaction.
Wallet usually warns you that you don’t have enough free ADA balance to complete this transaction. You have to have enough free ADA to transfer some with tokens, to pay for the fees, to have as collateral for contracts and to have in place to hold your assets.
Easy way to find out how much unencumbered ADA you have from your total balance is if you go to SEND tab, start a transaction and click MAX in ADA field. It will instantly select free ADA. If this is less then 2 ADA you may need to add some more to complete this transfer.
My head is exploding, I can’t even explain what’s wrong with my wallet! Let’s do this - on July 1, I start exchanging 1000AGIX to ADA through taptools.io, after confirming the transaction, 660AGIX are exchanged through minswap.org, and 340AGIX is returned (judging by the transaction from the browser block) and are also returned based on the browser block to my address, but No matter how hard I tried these 340AGIX and 2.5ADA, I can’t transfer them anywhere. They remain at that address.
Is 340 AGIX returned to your wallet address or is it still in a smart contract address waiting to be sold?
If it’s still in smart contract address, try to cancel the trade and hopefully your AGIX is returned.
Thank you very much for trying to help me! I also began to think that taptools.io is a price aggregator and breaks it down into several Dexas, but how can I cancel this smart contract?
Don’t click that. It’s a scam link.
Thank you! I’ll try!
Thank you!!
Best way is to go to Taptools and look at your portfolio. Check for active trades.
I don’t use Taptools so I don’t know my way around their site.
Thank you!!! I’ll try to cancel, or wait until the order is executed
Mod just removed this Brock scammer. If he or anyone else tries to message you just report and block them.
Remember if anyone ask for your passphrase instantly block them!
Hope it all works out on Taptools.
very grateful! ok_hand:
