I create the wallet back then - with the 12 word phrase, and now, I don’t have access to it. I tried pretty much everything!!!
Nothing works.

Wait for the new release of daedalus (version 3.3.0) and u will be able to restore ur wallet via importing file… u still need ur spending password to move ur ada to a shelley wallet.
Be carefull and download daedalus only from oficial sources… daedalus never will be available for mobile (there is a scam app on google store “daedalus”)

Just tested Daedalus Flight 3.3.0. Still Zero balance. Wallet address used to send ADA, when checked on the blockchain still show that the balance of my crypto is there, but zero balance on daedalus 3.3.0.
IOHK zendesk has explicitly expressed that a wallet name and sending password is not prerequisite to retrieve crypto. Also it has expressed that the reseted wallet name and sending password after using recovery phrase should not influence the balance of the wallet.
IOHK zendesk is not responding on help requests.
Hopefully they are not staking our crypto for personal profits.
They could consider giving people with byron crypto access to versions of the software that is Byron compatible and shelley enable to give these a chance to transfer their wallet balances to modern architecture.
That’s if they want to. As for now they have our crypto in lock down. Due to the lack of responsiveness, I’m thinking reddit might be persuasive.

I have downloaded latest wallet Flight and used the import function.
After sync wallet showed my coins. I was able to recall the spending password and transfer coins to Shelleys address.

I have the same problem. 2018 bought ADA and transferred to Daedalus wallet, that is now corrupt. New Daedalus mainnet 3.3.0 shows 0 ADA. I tried Flight as well. Seed phrase is 100% correct, I also have my password and wallet name. Everything is documented 2x in different locations. It is a 27 word paper wallet. If you made these you received 18 words printed out and last 9 you wrote down yourself. All words are correct.

- Enter your 27-word Daedalus paper wallet recovery phrase in the Paper wallet recovery phrase field. (tip: you must click on the word that pops up below the field to add it.)
- Enter a wallet name (you do not have to use the old name)
- Enter a spending password (you do not have to use the old password)
- Click on Restore wallet
- You will see your restored wallet in the list of wallets on the left of the Daedalus screen
Note that the last word in the recovery phrase is not used to check if the recovery phrase is correct in paper wallets. So there is a greater chance that one or more of the words is mistyped than with a recovery phrase for Daedalus wallet where the last word can sometimes catch a typing error and display a validation error message.
Yes, the paper wallet needs to be restored in daedalus. It says top left Byron, so obvious it is teh old wallet. I know it is only about the first 4 letters of the word. I did select the word that pops up below when I type. I did everything you mentioned and the amount shows zero.

also after u created the paper wallet, did you sent some ADA to the paper wallet address right?

it must have a transaction ID, or a destination address (to which address the ADA were sent)
I still have the transaction and I see that the address I sent the ADA to is different than the address I have on my paper wallet. It is strange as I only opened one Daedalus wallet and printed everything out. I also checked several times if my ADA was in my wallet and I always saw it in there. Stopped checking as I always needed to sync the wallet first for some time. If I check the wallet address I sent it to with the link you sent I see it sitting there and I see the correct date it was sent. All lost now and floating in cyber space?
Can u share the wallet address from ur paper wallet certificate? and the address were the ada were sent (from your transaction)?

So, both transactions were sent to an another wallet address; it could be possible that at that time also had a byron daedalus wallet? U should have a 12 seed words…
Or if u have daedalus 3.3.0 try to restore from import file… perhaps it will found and older wallet in ur pc
If you look at both transactions you see they are send to the same address.
No I have a 27 word. As I said the first 18 words are printed out and teh last 9 you need to add yourself as a safety at that time.
The problem I guess is that the address both transaction are sent to is not the same as the address of the paper wallet
Many wallets change the public address at certain moments, not sure if old Daedalus wallet also did this.
Yes, but when u moved your ADA to wallet paper u copied from ur pdf or qr code right? Then why in ur transactio is another address? shouldn’t be the address from the pdf?
