This wallet is the worst, I’ve only had problems since the beginning. It just give me the message “Connecting the network” and I have tried all the proposed solutions.
Looks nice but doesnt work. It doesn’t recognize the recovery phrase. Although I filled it in completely, it won’t let me make spaces between the words. The result is it keeps saying this field is required…
If the developers can’t even make a solid wallet, withoput any issues every time, it does make one think …
You can’t do spaces, only words, they’re separated by the program.
I tried it again, now it let me choose from words as soon as I type and indeed it fills in the spaces. but now it keeps saying invalid recovery phrase. and yes, i am 00% sure I got the right phrase, used a lot of times in the old wallet…
Sorry, I don’t know Yoroi and can’t help, but I would strongly recommend starting a new topic in CTS as I advised above.
I think I know what you’re missing, you’re trying to restore the Daedalus phrase as an ordinary Yoroi wallet, no? See this section of @rickymac’s excellent video on how import Daedalus funds into Yoroi. He describes the process in detail, please follow this and let us know if it worked out.

I personally think Deadalus is neat. Some people have the mysterious “Connecting to network” and “Syncing blocks” problems, which is unfortunate. This situation will be improved with future releases. If you’d like a “just works” official light wallet right now, check out Yoroi. There’s also a mobile wallet from a 3rd party developer, Infinito.
If you want to stick to Daedalus, please create a topic in #communitytechnicalsupport where you describe what solutions you tried from the FAQ and the results.

Thanks for the tip! I followed all the steps in the video and then it said the Daedalus wallet is empty (of which I am very sure it is not, unless it was hacked). So I gave it one more attempt to start the Daedalus wallet again and ow it started? Why is it possible that one moment is says the TLS certifcate is missing ( what does that even mean?) and a few days later it starts again? Am I the only one with this issue? Can it be fixed? It is doing my head in to be honest… lol
Update:
Funny enough the daedalus wallet synced. All my coins showed but just to be sure I sent them all to the Yoroi wallet. I don’t want to take anymore chances and will wait till Daedalus has a new update or whatever to see if it’s more stable. Hopefully Yoroi is more stable already. Thanks a lot for the tips all!
