How do I transfer ADA from Pool Wallet to Daedalus Wallet?

I have searched the forum and I found a few posts that talk about doing a manual transaction, but the posts seem to be old and out of date. i.e. the posts talk about doing manual transactions on both a hot and cold node. 0.o I don’t see an easy way to do this.

Do I need to decrypt my wallet before I transfer ADA?
Do I really need to do transactions on a cold node? (I don’t have a cold node).

USE CN TOOLS to transfer funds
How to transfer funds from the Block Producer Wallet to your Daedalus wallet.

Step #1. Log into your Block Producer Node
Step #2. command: cd $CNODE_HOME/scripts (Change directory to Cardano Node scripts)
Step #3. command: ./cntools.sh (Run CN Tools)
Step #4. From the Wallet menu, Decrypt your pool wallet. then go back to CN TOOLS main menu
Step #5 Go to the Funds menu. [f] Funds

           If you have rewards: 
               a.  [w] Withdraw rewards to your main wallet on Block Producer, then SEND ADA

           Otherwise:               
               b.  Send ADA to your Daedalus Wallet

USE CN TOOLS to RETIRE an Active Pool
How to Retire your Stake Pool using CN TOOls (./cntools.sh)

Step #1. Decrypt your Wallet
Step #2. Decrypt your Pool
Step #3 Select [ p ] pool from Main Menu of CN Tools

Step #4 Select … [ x ] Retire

Step #5 Select … [ o ] Online Mode … (follow the prompts)

RESULTS

NOTE
When your Pool retires, your deposit will go to your rewards address.
Then you can Withdraw rewards into your pool wallet using the [w] Withdraw option from CN Tools [f] Funds Menu. Then you can transfer your ADA to your Daedalus Wallet using the [s] Send option.
