I restore the wallet, and it says 0 ADA…
Just to mention that I did not try to access the wallet for a year, and today i had to make a restore, after I did it I found myself with that problem.
Before I went with the process of restoring the wallet i had only one yoroi wallet, so the phrase is correct, but it seams that now i end up with another wallet, which is completely strange and not sure how this is even possible… somehow after entering the phrase and confirming I get different adres linked to that phrase…???
Standard wallet or hardware wallet (ledger/trezor)?
standard wallet
Was your wallet a Byron wallet (addresses starting with D or A, not with addr1)?
Then, you will have to claim/transfer it to a Shelley wallet.
If u paste one address from receive section on cardanoscan.io do u see any old registrations/transactions?
no, nothing…
but if I go to daedalus wallet and from there copy the address to which i did transfer all of my ADA a year ago and paste it to cardanoscan.io then i can see my ADA underthe section ‘controlled stake key’…
as @HeptaSean asked… the address is starting with addr1…?
it’s starting with addr1, at least from what i can see in daedalus wallet…coz from there i transfered all of my ADA to yoroi a year ago.
Then u must have a wrong seed words; try to search for another one
Did u ever used this seed words to restore the wallet in the past?
when i enter the words it gives a green check mark… and on the day when I create the yoroi wallet, i have write down the phrase on two different places, and both of those inputs are the same…
so I dont see how it’s wrong
no, i did not…this is the first time… i create the wallet, transfer the ada and check on it maybe 1-2 times…something like that…but never before went through the process of restoring it.
and I guess u don’t have the old yoroi installed anymore… right?
i do not have it… i had it as an extension in the browser…today when I want to login, i had to add it all over again coz it was not there any more when i was checking
You will get a green check mark for all seed phrases that fulfil the checksum. That doesn’t mean that exactly that wallet has been used.
Have you tried the seed phrase for your other, Daedalus wallet? Perhaps you mixed those up.
Do you see a transaction history in the empty wallet that comes up?
We can only tell you that same seed phrases always restore to same wallets with same addresses.
Can u share or dm the old address and the new one?
old one : addr1qxc2cwc77evmgg2dypwqzvpvmlus9vtl6ertv4n8hza24mkafwayf5s6lq4uh6g3tc6f6h8gh3neyqdcynwz0salggeqx4yych
new one : addr1q847t08hlqsm4akqzj469ravxe48ytz9rknc0rya0dwzz5jng0pptasrnhm28ycx6xf9963xwm9hfpjma4nujagvf8nsvdjcrq
This is happen when a wrong seed words is used… I don’t know perhaps u created the wallet (yoroi) then created another with different seed words… but this is not the right seed words for the wallet with ADA
yap i have tried that, and when I check the other one it gives error… so the first one with 15 words seams its correct one… and when i was writing the phrase down to save it, i did it twice and check it multiple times…so it just has to be the correct coz i really took time to put it down correctly…something else has gone wrong
You say that you transferred your ADA from Daedalus to Yoroi, but …
… the transactions for this wallet only show withdrawals from an exchange, not transactions from a Daedalus wallet, as far as I can see: https://cardanoscan.io/addresses?stakeKey=dd4bba44d21af82bcbe9115e349d5ce8bc679201b824dc27c3bf4232
What kind of error? Because, even if it is not the thing happening here, it should be no problem to restore a Daedalus seed phrase to Yoroi.
I think daedalus was a byron wallet? @Kresimir_Kelez can u confirm? The daedalus seed should have only 12 words
