thanks for your help Alexd1985, was able to recover secret.key file and restore wallet with balanceā¦ but have lost a good amount of trust in the projectā¦ how can you not have access to your ada with the correct recovery phrase and then have IOHK not address the issueā¦
I donāt know what to say, there are thousands of holders which are using daedalus, including me, and I never had issues; trust me if there was an issue they couldnāt hide it
Donāt lose the trust, itās the best project!!! now u need to create a new shelley wallet (bkp the 24 seed words) and send 10 ADA from byron to shelley wallet; then delete the shelley wallet and restore againā¦ if u see the 10ADA (meaning the seed words is fine) then move all amount and start delegating for 5% rewards (per year)

PS: stay away from scams! Do not keep the seed words on your pc! And keep in mind that :
- there are NO giveaways (all are scams)
- there is no daedalus for mobile (scam)

bkped? i was under the assumption that as long as i have the recovery phrase i can restore wallet and reset password.

for the moment no, relax and try as many password u remember, there is no limit for trying
