so after waiting patiently for a month, i get back a generic response telling me the same thing: my recovery phrase is incorrect… the fact that this was the only wallet/seed i ever created, or that many others are having the same issue is completely ignored…
It is almost 2025 and I face the exact same issue.
I have my seed phrase (100% correct, saved at 2 different places) and restore my BYRON Wallet on deadalus. I created the wallet end 2017 on daedalus. I have no access to my old pc, it is crashed long, long time ago. But well, that is the reason I saved the seed phrase correctly and very safe to always get access to my wallet back.
I installed Deadalus, and restored the wallet while the sync process was still ongoing (for 4 days straight). Now it is 100% synched but no balance seen. No transactions seen. That is absolutely incorrect.
Even IF there was anytime I don’t remember that I send my like 50k ADA to another crypto exchange – then there should be a transaction history to my personal byron wallet. But there is none. And NO I didn’t sent the ADA to another exchance. And it is definitely the correct and ONLY seed phrase (12 words) I have ever created!
Can anybody tell me the issue is known and fixed meanwhile? I see many topics with the same problems since 2020. There must be any fix already? I opened a support ticket, but I lost all hope since viralgod said they only send generic answers 
50k ADA, holding for years on purpose, stored the seed phrase safely and now everything(!) is lost?
If you have the correct seedphrase, you will be able to access your funds for sure.

I tried on adalite now and it shows zero ADA as well.
But it is for sure the ONLY seed phrase I got when I installed Daedalus. I never installed another wallet on Daedalus or for ada at all. I also checked every crypto broker and my tax history, when I purchased the ada. It was only the one Deadalus wallet. And for sure the likely 50k ADA were on that wallet when I checked Daedalus when I installed and deposited it in 2017/2018.
How can it be? I never ever got another Daedalus wallet. The seed phrase even is saved at my parents house. There is no mistake in writing it down. I even got a metal plate to point the seed phrase onto (bip 39).

If you dont see anything there aswell, its either a false seedphrase or you got another seedphrase somewhere.
adawallet.io is loading for hours. Is that normal? I also try to restore the wallet on Deadalus again, after deleting. But this needs hours to sync again, too.
Can I test any combination on adalite.io? Does adalite instantly show the right balance (over 0) if I get the right seed? Or does it save any combinations in memory temporarily so I cannot try several combinations because adalite shows any temporarily saved zero balance of another try before?
Curious, because My metal plate seed phrase is clearly. I will check with the seed at my parents house, too. But I doubt this is wrong. Shit

I am so sorry! I am a little fool.
First of, the metal plate is totally fine. But I noted the BIP 39 code equivalents for the 12 words with 4 numbers to decode each word. One example: 0192 is 192 in the list. Because the 0 gets deleted.
And that’s my BIG mistake! I deleted every 0. So for example the code: 0070 is 70. But I noted the word 7 and deleted the zero. So absolutely my fault.
I got to this only by luck because I tried a script (my first script ever) on my macbook, what is described here: Got 11 phrases for recovery, how can I get the 12th?
I changed the script with Chat GPT to find the word for position 7 instead of position 12. And then with much luck I got the real wallet on try 10 or something 
It was like I remembered each word by look – but word 7 looked unknown for me. So I tried this (first).
Here is my Script if someone else needs to restore a seed phrase with only 11 words out of 12 words known.

Okay, that very much sounds like you have the wrong seed phrase there.
Is there any chance that you have a different one from the time?
