the CF Delegation Application Form is open for the next round in October. Remember: it is not about sending the form as soon as possible. There is still plenty of time to collect contributions until October.

thanks @adatainment for indicating the precise closing date on the form itself (Oct 2, 2022 at 22:00. (GMT+2)). I am guessing the word “April” currently above is an artefact from a previous delegation announcement? … please clarify if not :pray:

Just to be sure, if a pool was already registered for the last round or the round before, do we need to register again?

Last time some people said it is necessary to register again for every round and we missed it, but we were still in the list of pools.

I would re-apply every cycle just to be sure.

FYI a Twitter poll was recently taken regarding the Delegation Methodology, particularly the final stage of the selection process:

Personally I can relate to the great overhead, risk, and trust issues of reapportioning those huge wallets in favour of a broader delegation… but it also seems this would be justifiable from the @cf-team’s perspective if it promotes continuous support of the Cardano ecosystem by those who qualify but wouldn’t otherwise receive the delegation. :face_with_monocle:

when will next redelegation take place ?

According to “Cardano Foundation’s New Delegation Methodology” mentioned by @adatainment, the rounds are taking place every three months, so next should be in January 2023. Someone correct me if I misunderstood.

Not yet. We are posting the results usually after redelegation took place. If you want to get notified on new rounds, results etc - please look into this topic.
