  • This update to CIP-0013 opens up the standard to allow for expansions.
• CIP-0068 | Improve image types and URI descriptions [Proposal Update]:
  • This change to CIP-0068 proposes a few various changes to improve the proposal.
• CIP-0001 Update | Add Versioning + other small edits [Proposal Update]:
  • This change to CIP-01 adds that proposals must describe how they should be versioned.
  • I am the author on this .

  • This update aims to introduce clear namespacing for CIP-30 extensions.
  • I am the author
• CIP-1694 Update | Semantic changes after the Edinburgh workshop [Proposal Update]:
  • This update to CIP-1694 makes the final semantic changes that the authors currently intend to make.
  • Some good discussions on the PR.

  • Lots of discussion around versioning of CIP-68 - agreed to move this addition into its own CIP.
  • CIP-0068 itself will need some adjustment to allow this - Adam will pursue.

  • Author present to discuss.
  • Very good discussion around the goals of the proposal and versioning.
  • Happy to assign a number.

Triage

• CIP-0030 | Stipulate namespaced extension endpoints
• Author (me ) present to discuss.
  • Suggestion was made to encourage authors to use namespacing, but not enforce it. This is to allow clashing naming for patches/fixes. (see KtorZ comment).
• CIP-0050 | Translations: fix Spanish metadata, remove Chinese
  • Discussion around, what to put in Revision header field when no commit hash available.
  • Settled on allowing last known translation date.
  • Robert to update CIP-01 to allow for this in translated CIPs.

Review

• CIP-1694 | Semantic changes after the Edinburgh workshop
  • Discussion around this just being “semantic changes”, suggestion to author to split the semantic and other changes into a separate PR - to give space to debate the larger changes.

• CIP-0068 | Improve image types and URI descriptions
  • Agreement that this should not cause a new version for CIP-68.
  • Merged in meeting.
